Tool: Co-Design

What is this tool?

Co-design means designing (services, interventions etc) with people, not “for” or “at” people.

It is often used in the health and social care sectors[1], telecoms & aerospace[2], education[3] and increasingly in the mobility sector[4].

Whilst co-design focusses principally on engaging with potential users, it also usually requires engagement with partner organisations and authorities.

If you want to check the extent to which your innovation development is already following a co-design approach, take a look at this tool.
